Alta Vista is available for vacation rentals on a first-come first-served basis.

Rental rates are adjusted so that small groups pay substantially less than larger groups but nevertheless can enjoy use of the entire house.
Rates ( for small groups up to 4 people occupancy):
 $295/nt -- 1770/wk ...... Winter (Dec 1 - Apr 15)
$225/nt -- 1350/wk ...... Spring (Apr 16 - May 28)
$250/nt -- 1500/wk ...... Summer (May 29 - Sep 5)
$225/nt -- 1350/wk ...... Fall (Sep 6 - Nov 30)
except:
$345/nt ...... Winter holiday periods (Dec 19 - Jan 5; Jan 10-15; Feb 10 - 25)
$275/nt ...... Summer holiday weekends and Thanksgiving (May 21-25; Jul 2-5; Aug 27-Sep1; Nov 25-30).

However, this home comfortably allows 8-people occupancy (4 BR, 3-1/2 BA), and the following price increases apply:
$25 per night if your group is 5 people;
$50 per night if your party is 6 people;
$75 per night if your party is 7 or more people;
(Infants under 10 months of any age do not have to be included in the above person count).

... Basic Cleaning fee (per rental): $150 (A $60 rebate applies if renter does laundry ).

Passes to Tahoe-Donner recreational areas are available at the (nominal) rates paid by owners. Please inquire for details.

Cancellation Policy:
For cancellations made more than 30 days prior to scheduled arrival date, we will refund all rents paid. For cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival, only the deposit and cleaning fee are refunded. As a courtesy to our customers, if we are able to find a suitable replacement rental tenant, we will refund all monies paid, less a $100 service fee. Furthermore, we will certainly work with you in the event that cancellation is due to documented serious illness or Acts of God. These courtesies are at the owner's sole discretion. Winter Advisory:
Alta Vista is located on a road that is on the regular snow removal route of the Town of Truckee. In addition, private driveway snow removal is performed on seasonal contract. The driveway is level with the road and easy to get in and out. Commensurate with the 7300 ft. elevation of Alta Vista, heavy snow and snow drifts can occur, and -- as would apply for all winter sport resorts -- we advise our renteres to use a 4-WD/AWD vehicle and to plan to arrive early if very heavy snowfall is in the forecast. A&C Vaction Rentals or the owners will not be responsible for any losses to renters due to snow conditions.
