Rental and Pricing Information for Alegria and Amor Apartments

R$ 180 (US$ 36) Nightly Rate, single occupancy
R$ 2,280 (US$ 456) Monthly rate, single occupancy

Surcharge per night for an additional person (2 people max.): R$ 30 (US$ 6)
or surcharge per month for each additional person: R$ 240 (US$ 48)
Housekeeping charge per week: R$ 120 (US$ 24)
Reservation/Management Fee (one-time charge for each rental): R$ 480 (US$ 96)

We use a personalized reservation process; all details are handled via e-mail.

Special Rental Provisions:

Occupancy limit:  2 people (we may accept a third person upon special consideration).
Restrictions: No children, no animals in Alegria (OK in Amor), no smoking (OK on terrace)
Minimum rental period: 4 nights

Refundable Security/Damage Deposit: US$150 (R$750) when invoiced

Pet fee: US$6 (R$30) per day (a pet is permissible by exception only at Amor)
(Such an exception would only apply to Amor and not to Alegria, where we continue to guarantee to guests for health reason that no pets are permitted).

Cancellation Policy:

Rescission: within 48 hours from time of reservation with full refund.
More than 60 days prior to arrival: 100% refund, less US$60 (R$300) service fee:
Between 30 and 60 days prior to arrival: 100% refund, less US$96 (R$480) service fee:
Within 30 days of your check-in date: no guaranteed refund
If you shorten your stay after check-in: there will be no guaranteed refund of rents paid, or payable, for canceled nights.
As a courtesy to our customers: we will refund all monies paid for the re-rented nights, less an US$60 (R$300) service fee.

Furthermore, we will certainly work with guests in the event that cancellation is due to documented serious illness or “Acts of God.” Please see here for more details of our cancellation policy.

Payment Details and Options:

Your nonrefundable down payment on rents of US$96 (R$480) will reserve your dates.
Payment of the Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.

Payments via transfer into our bank account in Germany, or Zelle or personal check (US banking institution only).
We may also arrange for balance payment in cash in Brazilian reais upon arrival.

Lead pricing currency is the Brazilian reais (R$). If payment in US$ or Euros, the foreign exchange rate will be 5 reais/US$ or 0.85 EUR/US$, except that an exchange rate adjustment will be due if the exchange rate (https://www.oanda.com/currency-converter/ or equivalent) deviates by more than about 5% from from these values.
