for Casa de Luz

Single occupancy:

US$50 (R$300) per night first 5 nights
US$40 (R$240) per night next 7 nights
monthly: US$550 (R$3300) total

Double occupancy:

US$54 (R$324) per night first 5 nights
US$44 (R$264) per night next 7 nights
monthly: US$590 (R$3540) total

3 or 4 persons:

US$58 (R$348) per night first 5 nights
US$46 (R$276) per night next 7 nights
monthy: US$620 (R$3720) total

Monthly rates (for 30 nights) include a budget of about R$700 for electricity, water, and Internet; we reserve the right to charge for excess power consumption.

Housekeeping charge: US$25 (R$150) per week, US$100 (R$600) per month)

A refundable Security/Damage Deposit in the amount of US$125 (R$750) is required when invoiced.

We use a personalized reservation process; all details are handled via e-mail. A nonrefundable Down Payment (US$150 on rents) is typically required to hold your reservation. Balance payment is is usually due by Zelle or check (U.S. bank only) or transfer to a bank account in Germany, or can also be arranged for payment in cash on arrival).

RENTAL PROVISIONS INCLUDE:

• 7-NIGHT MINIMUM RENTAL (exceptions considered)

• USE OF SWIMMING POOL ONLY BY RENTING GUESTS

• NOT MORE THAN 4 OCCUPANTS (incl. permitted children)

• NO CHILDREN under 9 years of age (safety reasons)

• NO ANIMALS

• SMOKING OR VAPING only ok on outside terraces/verandas

Cancellation Policy:

• Rescission: within 48 hours from time of reservation with full refund

• More than 30 days prior to arrival: 100% refund, less US$70 (R$420) cancellation fee

• Within 30 days of your check-in date: no refund

• If you shorten your stay after check-in, there will be no guaranteed refund of rents paid, or payable, for canceled nights.

• As a courtesy to our customers, if we are able to find a suitable replacement rental tenant, we will refund all monies paid, less a US$50 (R$300) service fee. Furthermore, we will certainly work with guests in the event that their cancellation is due to documented serious illness or Acts of God. Pricing is subject to change at any time -- firm only when quoted as an ad-hoc e-mail response to, and pertaining to a specific inquiry or booking request.

Our lead pricing is in US$. We assume an exchange rate of 6 R$/US$ and 0.9 EUR/US$. If the actual exchange rate (https://www.x-rates.com/calculator/ or equivalent) on the date of payment deviates by more than about 5%, we will adjust our pricing in reais or euros accordingly.
