We provide linen, bedding, towels, bath mats, and bathrobes for our renters.* The beds** are made upon arrival.*** The beds used by renters must NOT be made by renters before their departure. This is to ascertain that our housekeepers know unquestionably which beds were used by the renters.
However, doing laundry is the single most time-consuming and therefore costly activity for our housekeepers, and we very appreciate it when renters help out with this task before their departure. We have a washer and dryer (two dryers at Alta Vista) for renters’ use.
Please do not hang laundry anywhere outside the house to dry, such as or over a railing. Tahoe/Donner Association regulations prohibit this practice.

* We provide the linens that are on the beds upon arrival of the guests, as well as one large towel, one hand towel, and one wash towel per renter per rental. However, there are additional supplies in the closets, including bath mats and bathrobes. As a courtesy, our renters are welcome to make use of those additional supplies, but they are then REQUIRED to wash and dry those additionally used supplies before their departure.
** All beds are Queen size.
*** Bedding typically consists of a fitted sheet and a blanket sandwiched between two large flat sheet, and the duvet. We do have additional blankets and comforters available for guests’ use in the closets.
