Cleaning Charges - Housekeeping
We extend a significant discount for rentals to less than 8 occupants, including children. Our normal quotes are for up to four people, and there is an additional charge per day for each additional person, including children. We do, however, expect that our guests do not use more linens* & towels,* beds,** bedrooms,** and bathrooms than is reasonably commensurate with the number of people in their party.

A separate charge for post-rental cleaning applies to each rental. There is no covered housekeeping service during the rental period. The house rental fee includes Renters’ use of our linens, towels, bath mats and bath robes from our supplies.*
Our cleaning service is contracted to perform normal housekeeping tasks, including washing linens and towels, making the beds, and cleaning and sanitizing the bathrooms and the kitchen. If you use our pots and pans and high-temperature cooking glassware, we expect you to clean those items. Also, please clean after your cooking spills, in particular we ask that you leave the cooktop, the burner bowls, and the oven as clean as you found them.

Before departure, our renting guests are expected to perform the following common-sense simple tasks:
-- wash dishes or place in dish washer and activate washing cycle before departing (do not depart before cycle has safely finished)
-- place furniture, if moved, back in their original position
-- remove your trash from the house (place in metal "bear-proof box" at driveway entrance, one trash can, or take home with you)
-- remove your recyclables, in blue bags, tied at the top, and place them in the bear box next to the garbage can (not in it)
-- windows closed and shades down, lock house.
-- remove your foods from the refrigerator
-- complete washing and drying of EXTRA linens, towels, bathrobes, etc. you used from our supplies* (do not depart before cycle has finished)

* We provide one bath mat in each bathroom and the linens that are on the beds upon arrival of the guests, as well as one large towel, one hand towel, and one wash towel per guest per rental period. However, there are additional supplies in the closets, including bathrobes. As a courtesy, our renters are welcome to make use of those additional supplies, but they are then expected to complete the washing and drying cycle for those additionally used supplies before they depart.
** For example, if there are just two of you renting, we will give you a very substantial discount, but in return we would expect that you use only the upstairs, large master bedroom and master bath, and leave the downstairs bedrooms and baths untouched, so our housekeepers will not have to clean those, as well.
